Levels, languages, pricing, location, booking — if anything else is unclear, a LINE message gets you an answer, usually the same day.
Do you teach complete beginners?
Yes — my lessons cover every level, from complete beginners to competitive players. The first step is the Tokyo Trial Lesson (¥30,000 / 60 min), which includes a full game assessment and a personal plan.
Can I take lessons in English?
Yes. I'm a native English speaker with fluent Japanese — every lesson can be taught in either language, or switching naturally between the two.
Where are lessons held?
Tokyo lessons are held at Tamasora Golf Tamachi in Minato, Tokyo, with both indoor and outdoor coaching available. On-course playing lessons can also be arranged via LINE.
How do I book a lesson?
Booking is by LINE — send a short message like 'I'd like to try a trial lesson' and you'll usually get a reply the same day.
How much do lessons cost?
The first-time Tokyo Trial Lesson is ¥30,000 for 60 minutes; the standard Tokyo 1-Hour Lesson is ¥60,000. Prices include tax. On-course lessons and 5/10-lesson passes are available on enquiry via LINE.
What is Louis's coaching background?
I came through the Nick Faldo Academy at Brocket Hall and was coached directly by six-time Major champion Nick Faldo. I commentated at the Paris 2024 Olympics, have worked on-air at The Open and the AIG Women's Open, and was the live interpreter for 2024 AIG Women's Open champion Miyu Yamashita.
Do you run corporate or group golf events?
Yes — corporate golf events, brand collaborations and MC work, with past events for the Tokyo American Club and the British Chamber of Commerce. Enquire via LINE.
What is the cancellation policy?
Lessons can be cancelled up to 24 hours before the scheduled time.
